Mr. Jonathan Love

Hello! I am Mr. Love and I will be teaching 8th Grade English and 7th Grade Social Studies for the 2023-2024 school year. I was born and raised in Belvidere where I graduated from Belvidere High School (no Belvidere North at the time). After high school, I worked at the Chrysler plant for seven years before moving to Arizona where I worked in the Casa Grande Elementary School District as a paraprofessional for special education. While in Arizona, I attended Grand Canyon University where I received my Bachelor’s of Arts in History for Secondary Education. After getting my degree, I taught 8th grade social studies for three years at Cactus Middle School before coming back to Illinois to be closer to family and teach here at South Beloit Middle School.
