This year, students in grades 6-8 entered the VFW's Patriot's Pen essay contest on, "How Can I be a Good American?" Winners were announced this week. 1st place Chanelle White, 2nd place Monserrat Bedolla, 3rd place Zyden Cox, 4th place Blake Nalan and 5th place Conner Joiner.
