Mrs. Nundahl
Hi! I’m Mrs. Nundahl, and I am so excited to begin the 2023-2024 school year with you! This year, I will be teaching 8th grade Literature and Social Studies, as well as 7th grade Science.
I grew up in Rockford, IL, and I graduated from Rockford East High School. After high school, I received my Associate’s Degree from Rock Valley College and then transferred to Illinois State University. While at ISU, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, with endorsements in Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. I also spent time as a member of the Illinois State Competitive Dance team, where I was able to travel to Florida for the National College Dance Competition!
After graduating from ISU, I remained in Bloomington, IL to begin my teaching career. I spent three years teaching 4th grade, followed by two years of teaching 5th grade. While teaching in Bloomington, I returned to ISU and received my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. After five years away from home, I made the move back to Rockford. This will be my 13th year teaching and my eighth year teaching in the South Beloit School District!
This past April, my son turned one! I’ve had so much fun this summer spending time with him. He is walking EVERYWHERE and getting into EVERYTHING. In my spare time (when I'm not chasing my son), I enjoy outside activities (especially the pool in the summer), reading mystery/thriller books, and spending time with friends and family.
Please always feel free to contact me. The easiest way to get a hold of me is through email at [email protected], but I can also be reached by calling the school at 815-389-1421.
