Mrs. Nundahl

Hi!  I’m Mrs. Nundahl, and I am so excited to begin the 2022-2023 school year with you!  This year, I will be teaching both 7th grade and 8th grade Literature.

I grew up in Rockford, IL, and I graduated from Rockford East High School.  After high school, I received my Associate’s Degree from Rock Valley College and then transferred to Illinois State University.  While at ISU, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, with endorsements in Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science.  I also spent time as a member of the Illinois State Competitive Dance team, where I was able to travel to Florida for the National College Dance Competition!

After graduating from ISU, I remained in Bloomington, IL to begin my teaching career.  I spent three years teaching 4th grade, followed by two years of teaching 5th grade.  While teaching in Bloomington, I returned to ISU and received my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.  After five years away from home, I made the move back to Rockford. This will be my 12th year teaching and my seventh year teaching in the South Beloit School District!

This past April, my husband and I welcomed our son into our family!  I’ve had so much fun this summer spending time with him.  In my spare time, I enjoy outside activities (especially the pool in the summer), reading mystery/thriller books, and spending time with friends and family.

Please always feel free to contact me.  The easiest way to get a hold of me is through email at [email protected], but I can also be reached by calling the school at 815-389-1421.
