Stefani Zimmerman

Hello and welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! This year is my 10th year teaching here in the South Beloit School District and I will be teaching 7th grade math, 7th grade social studies, and 8th grade social studies. I grew up in Roscoe, IL and graduated from Hononegah High School in 2010. Following high school, I attended Illinois State University from 2010-2014 and graduated in May of 2014 with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and endorsements in Mathematics, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. In 2019, I finished my masters program at American College of Education in Educational Business Administration.

 

Prior to moving to the Junior High in August of 2022, I worked in Blackhawk Elementary School for 8 years teaching 6th grade! During my time with the district I have served as the 7th and 8th grade volleyball coach and then moved on to coaching the JV volleyball team at the high school. In August of 2021, my husband and I welcomed our first son, Daxton, into our family and my coaching career came to a close so I could spend as much time as possible with my family. In July of 2023, we welcomed another baby boy, Wesley, to our family. It has been so fun watching them grow and change with each passing day!
